JFCU (proposed) will be deeply rooted in the communities we will serve. The proposed credit union aims to empower members by pooling resources to provide accessible financial solutions.
Member-Owned and Governed:
As a not-for-profit institution, JFCU (proposed) will be owned and operated by its members. A volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the membership, will oversee the proposed credit union, ensuring decisions are made in the best interest of the community.
Comprehensive Financial Services:
JFCU (proposed) aims to provide a range of services, including checking and savings accounts and auto loans. The CU organizers are also evaluating services such as education loans and home loans—these may be added in the future once the zUC has the required size and experience. These services are designed to meet the diverse financial needs of its members while adhering to Islamic principles.
